A safety drive was undertaken by District Transport Officer in the premises of Jindal Steel and Power limited (JSPl) on Monday. During the drive, radium stickers were pasted on about 2,000 bicycles.
During the traffic drive in JSPl premises, the officers also informed commuters about traffic rules to be followed. The Industrial Health and Safety Department of JSPl assisted the team of transport officers in carrying out the task.
The team led by District Transport Officer Pl Dhruv also performed a surprise inspection in Transport Nagar of Gorkha locality where they found about 60 vehicles parked in unauthorized manner.
The vehicle owners have been served notices to produce documents related to vehicles and remove the same within four days, a company press release issued here stated.
