The sadhus and saints in Chhattisgarh have now extended their support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ to make the country a better place to live in.
Many sadhus and saints who came to participate in the ongoing celebration of ‘Gadiya Festival’ during Sharadiya Navratri in Kanker district headquarters, have supported the initiative and have urged the devotees to dedicate their time in maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings on a daily basis.
The saints said that it is the responsibility of the devotees to keep the worship places neat and clean. The aforesaid information was made available by the District Collector, Alarmel Mangai D to Secretary of Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), GS Mishra through video conferencing here on Wednesday.
