The State government has prepared a Rs405.52 crore plan for construction of a total of 24 ‘Railway Over and Underbridges’ for facilitating easier movement of traffic at Railway crossings in the State.
PWD Minister Brijmohan Agarwal said that there had been significant pace of work achieved in the construction of Railway over and under bridge during the past 10 years.
During this period, a total of 12 Railway over and under bridges were constructed in the State.
Currently, the work on construction of Railway Over Bridge is underway at four places, soon the work will be completed he said.
The Minister also added , that the construction of a total of 24 Railway Over and Under bridge are proposed under Public Works Department.
