District Collector Yashwant Kumar on Friday accorded administrative approval to sanction of a sum of Rs 4.78 crore for including a total of 113 job-oriented works for the registered families under MGNREGS for the action plan prepared for 2013-14. In-charge CEO Zila Panchayat A K Dhritlahare informed that priority had been given to job-oriented works relating to construction and development of structures related to water conservation and harvesting. The Gram panchayats to be covered under Narayanpur division for offering the job oriented works under MNREGS are Bagbeda, Kukdajhor, Badgaon, Bhatpal, Behbeda, Ekda, Chiprel, Duggabengal,Halamimunjmet, Temrugaon, Kodher, Bagdongari, Kanhargaon, Kurushnaar, Kulanaar and Naumunjmeta. The sum approved for taking up works in these villages would be utilised for community lake development besides deepening of lakes at a cost of Rs 1.67 crore .
This part Rs 3.71 crore had been approved for a total of 97 individual beneficiaries to develop ‘dabari’ on their own land. The implementing agencies , CEO Janpad Panchayat was issued a directive that the entire work approved has to be completed by June 15.
Minister approves Rs 5 lakh
On the basis of discretionary fund of Rs 5 lakh of Minister for Tribal Welfare and Public Health Engineering Kedar Kashyap , District Collector Yashwant Kumar approved a sum of Rs 3.50 lakh for medical treatment for 71 beneficiaries, Rs 1.21 lakh for educational needs of 29 beneficiaries, Rs 30,000 for purchase needs of two organisations amounting to a total of Rs 7.70 lakh.
Selection list for contract employment released
The Child Protection Committee formed under District Woman and Child Development Department has released the list of successful candidates for contract employment based on the marks obtained in an aptitude test and group discussion besides scrutiny of the application forms.
The list had been put up in the notice boards at District Collectorate and the Office of the Woman and Child Development Officer. The objections for the said list by any candidate can be filed by May 10, 2013 at the Office of Woman and Child Development Department during the working hours.
Invite for witnesses to appear before SDM
Following orders of the District Magistrate to commence investigation into murder of constable Samaruram Vatti by suspected Maoist insurgents based on the FIR lodged with Farasgaon Police Station, Investigating Officer and SDM , Narayanpur A K Dhritlahare has invited members of general public to appear and provide verbal or written information in the SDM Court, Narayanpur till June 1 besides presenting any claims or objec- tions if any in the Court.
Usendi approves Rs 63,000 from discretionary fund
Based on the discreationary fund of Woman and Child Development, Panchayat and Social Welfare Minister and In charge Minister for Narayanpur lata Usendi, District Collector Yashwant Kumar has approved a sum of Rs 63,000 for medical treatment of a total of five beneficiaries in the district.
