For repairing of damaged anicut-cum-bridge on Shivnath River in Mohara, Finance Department approved Rs 2.50 crores on Saturday on instructions of the Chief Minister.
It is noteworthy that on Saturday during Vikas Yatra to Bilaspur district, Chief Minister had telephonic conversation with Chief Secretary Sunil Kumar and Additional Chief Secretary of Finance Department DS Mishra, and gave them instructions to immediately approve Rs 2.50 crores for repairing of this anicut in Rajnandgaon district and also invite short-term tenders to start the work. Complying to the instructions of Chief Minister, Chief Secretary Sunil Kumar has given approval for inviting short-term tenders for the repairing of anicut.
Orders regarding approval of Rs 2.50 crores for repairing work have also been issued. Chief Minister has instructed the officials to complete the repairing work of anicut and bridge on war-footing.
