Although, there is time for onset of summer but Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) seems to be geared up for chalking out a concrete work plan for ensuring supply of sufficient and clean drinking water to people in the city.
Addressing the meeting, Mayor Pramod Dubey has directed engineers and deputy engineers of Water Department to start work for ensuring smooth supply of water during summer season. Moreover, he also instructed Executive Engineer of the Department to pass on information regarding ongoing preparations to him on a regular basis.
Dubey has also ordered officials to take prompt action against complaints related to supply of contaminated water and pipeline leakage.
