An extensive wall writings, banner and poster removing drive was undertaken by Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) on Friday.
The RMC squad removed banners and posters from different places across the city as model code of conduct has been enforced for civic body polls in the State.RMC Commissioner Avneesh Kumar Sharan along with RMC officials toured different parts of city and overviewed the removing of political banners and posters.RMC City Investor MN Thakur informed that the drive was carried out in all eight zones of the city.At 119 palaces the political banners and posters were removed. At 49 places political wall writings as well as advertising related to different schemes were also painted over.
