Following the directives of Municipal Commissioner Rajat Bansal, zone-3 municipal office on Saturday served notice to Public Works Department Executive Engineer of New Circuit House for deposit of tap connection amounting worth lakhs of rupees, informed zone-3 commissioner Ramesh Jaiswal in a statement on Saturday.
Since last six years, the amount of tap connection has not been paid by the EE of PWD.
The tap connection was provided during the construction of New Circuit House building worth Rs 2,15,000 per year which has been outstanding so far, he said, adding that the department has pay back the fees of Rs 12,90,000 within a week.
