The Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) announced on Thursday that it will run a campaign from January 27 to March 2 in all 70 wards to resolve a variety of issues including those related to health, water and electricity supply.
The programme is titled ‘Shahri Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ (Urban Governance at Your Doorsteps).
Under the campaign, health and cleanliness works, water supply, private tap connection, new pipe line extension for water facility, electricity connection, communication work, work related to town planning, ration card and mutation related works will be resolved in all 70 wards of Raipur, a press release said.
Raipur Collector Dr. S. Bharathi Dasan has appointed Additional Collector B.C. Sahu as the Nodal Officer to coordinate between the officers of RMC and District Administration, it added.
