Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) commissioner, Avneesh Kumar Sharan on Thursday called a meeting of senior officials to review the progress of ongoing development works in the city.
The commissioner also learnt about the status of ongoing schemes, funded by the Central Government, State Government, MP, MlA, Corporators and in other heads, in the city.
He instructed all the zones' commissioners and the executive engineers to speed up the works and ensure its completion in the given time limit.
The officials concerned were asked to dispose of pending cases related to different schemes on priority basis.
Discussion over cleanliness, purchase of fogging machines, clearing payments of water tankers, which were hired during summer and the problem of water-logging, was also held. Sharan issued required instructions to the officials concerned in this regard.
