Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) Avnish Kumar Sharan on Friday visited health camps in different wards and directed the RMC employees to undertake cleanliness drive in the city.
The RMC Commissioner reached the civic body’s ‘Zone-IV’ and inspected health camps in Urdu Anjuman School, Shashtri Bazar of Babu Jagjivan Ram ward; Bheem Nagar of Pt. Sunder lal Sharma ward and Shriram Nagar of Changorabhata in Dr Khoobchand Baghel ward. later on, he also visited the Jaundice Ward of Government Ayurvedic College and enquired about the condition of patients there.
In the health camps and the hospital, the Commissioner interacted with local people and doctors. At the Anganwadi Centre in Bheem Nagar area while he also interacted with the ‘Mitanins’ and directed them to create awareness about health related issues in various wards of the city.
During the inspection, he came to know about leakage in pipe lines at Shriram Nagar. The Commissioner immediately asked the Commissioner of ‘Zone-V’ to repair the leakage quickly and ensure supply of safe drinking water in the ward.
