Additional Member (Commercial), Railway Board (New Delhi) S C Jethi on Saturday took stock of ongoing activities at Raipur railway division. Moreover, Jethi also carried out inspection of the Raipur Railway station.
According to officials, after arriving in Raipur, Jethi undertook inspection at the Railway station. On the occasion, he reviewed the facilities available at the station, including misting system, RO water plant, lift, enquiry counter, CCTV control room, UTS system, bookstall, child helpline, chemist and others.
During the course of inspection at the Railway station, Jethi was accompanied by Chief Commercial Manager of South East Central Railway (SECR) Shivraj, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Rahul Gautam, Additional DRM A K Meshram, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Nagpur) Arjun Sible, Divisional Commercial Manager M A Ansari, Chief Station Manager (CSM) B V T Rao and others.
later, Jethi chaired a meeting at DRM office officials and took stock of progress of various works.
Meanwhile, the Additional Member was apprised by officials about freight loading in 2015-16, operation of trains, works carried out at Railway stations in the division to enhance passenger amenities and others.
