'Reverse heart disease with no risk'

Coming as a good news for heart patients, SAAOl heart centre is opening its branch in city on Friday. Science And Art Of living (SAAOl) heart centre offers a non-operative solution for heart patients at a comparatively cheaper price than by-pass surgery or angioplasty. Unlike by-pass surgery, which does not clear the blockage in the arteries, SAAOl claims to bring together a healthy lifestyle, diet, exercise, Yoga and biochemical angioplasty. A one-hour sitting with SAAOl for 35 days unblocks the arteries completely, said heart specialist Dr Shrinivasan Rao at a Press conference in the city. One sitting with SAAOl heart centre costs Rs2,500. As the patient is neither hospitalised nor operated upon, there is no effect of one’s routine life. Every year after 20 years of age, cholesterol and triglyceride block the heart veins in a human being at a two per cent average.

However, patient does not even feel the need of diagnosis until 70 per cent of his veins are blocked. Treatments like by-pass surgery and angioplasty are not a permanent solution and come with high risks. “Machines are attached to the body which accelerate pumping of blood when the heart expands. Within a month, the arteries expand like that of athletes,” said heart specialist Dr Manish Gupta . Claiming a success rate of well over 90 per cent, he said that when combined with a healthy lifestyle and diet, there are negligible chances of relapse. A free lecture has been organised by SAAOl where Dr Bimal Chhajer, MD, Director of SAAOl heart centre and ex-adviser at AIMS will speak on biochemical angioplasty at their centre in Devendra Nagar on November 22 from 3pm. Established in 1995, SAAOl has treated over 80,000 heart patients till now. As India is home to 60 per cent of world’s heart patients, it is necessary that a permanent cure to heart vein blockage is found, said Dr Gupta adding that post-treatment counselling differs from person to person as one’s body type and lifestyle.  SAAOl advices zero-oil cooking doubled with regular exercise and Yoga.A combination of allopathic, homeopathic and Ayurvedic medicines are prescribed as post-operative assistance.
