BJP member Devjibhai Patel on Wednesday said in the Assembly that the name of the official must be revealed in the House who have told a prominent political leader that the State’s Ministers are mired into corruption.
A prominent leader had alleged a day before the counting of votes of the Assembly polls that the State’s Ministers are immersed in corruption. “If any big official has stated this, his name should be revealed in the House,” he said.
The BJP member further remarked: “The civil servants are not bigger than the democracy or the House. On December 7, before the day of counting of votes of the Assembly polls, a prominent politician made a statement that the Congress party is coming to power and the portfolios of the ministers are being decided.
“If any official has stated this, his name should be revealed in the House. During the past decade, the Opposition could not even make a single allegation on us. The wrong manner in which the people were told about corruption, the name of the official should be revealed.”
