Chief Minister Raman Singh on Sunday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decisions have created a beaming  image for India.

His decisions are in larger interest of public. The decision of election reforms and transparancy in funding of political parties will definitely lead the country towards better political system, he said.

The Prime Minister has provided economic equanimity to the country with his decisions, Singh said.

Hard work and far-sighted vision of the Prime Minister has created an impactful image of the nation on the world. As per the sentiments of Constitution, states have been made members of Team India, and many decisions have been taken to strengthen cooperative federalism, Singh said.

He said that the Prime Minister has increased the States' revenue from 32% to 42% and has given them the right to spend it as per their requirement.

Mentioning about GST Act, the Chief Minister said that- it is in compliance to the Constitution, resonating with the sentiment of cooperative federalism.

To implement the 'One Nation, One Tax and One Market' system in the country, on initiative of Prime, both the houses of parliament have passed GST law and with that a new era of tax-reformations has begun in the country, he said.

On the occasion of centinary year of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay, it was decided that 'lakshya Antyoday, Pran Antyoday-Path Antyoday' would be the guideline for government's policies and strategies.”

With strong will power of the Prime Minister, India has become the world's first country to demonetize 86% currency of the country. Singh praised the teamwork of people in Ambikapur, door-to-door garbage collection by women member of Clean Ambikapur Cooperative Society, use of battery-operated and manual rickshaws, collection of 17 solid waste in different areas, collection of solid and liquid waste separately, payment to women member involved in this work as 'user charge', and the strategy of creating public awareness towards hygiene habits.

The Chief Minister said : “Cleanliness Survey is a mirror that from time-to-time reflects the ground reality of progress made by different states and the country as a whole towards the goal of creating Clean India.”

These surveys and rankings motivate us to work in a better manner by rectifying out shortcomings. Chief Minister said- "There can be multiple reasons behind other cities not securing the top rankings. I believe that we are going through a process".

We have aimed to make Chhattisgarh clean as per the standards of Cleanliness Mission by October 2018, against the national target of creating Clean India by 2019, and we are moving ahead in that direction, Singh said.

In today's episode of 'Raman Ke Goth', Singh read a letter from listener Bhuvandas Jangade, resident of Sirsabandha of Bemetara district.

The letter said- "Summer season is also a wedding season. I request you to talk about the unneccessary expenditure done on weddings these days, and appeal the parents, bride-groom, to spend minimum possible on such functions instead of making it too flashy. Water and food should not be wasted. Dowry should neither be given nor be taken. Mass Marriage should be encouraged."

The Chief Minister said after reading the letter that I agree with all the points mentioned by Jangade, which is why I chose to read the letter during the programme. I request the listeners to keep these points in mind, he said.
