The Chhattisgarh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has imposed a penalty of Rs 1 lakh on the promoter of ‘Aura the Residents’ for violating norms, it was announced on Wednesday.
RERA fined the promoter for not updating the progress of the real estate project, a press release said.
Besides, RERA has directed the Raipur Municipal Commissioner to take appropriate action within two months and submit an action plan regarding completion of pending works of the disputed project, the release added.
As per the RERA Act, all promoters have to upload quarterly progress report of their real estate projects on the official website of RERA.
