Observer of Rajim Assembly constituency Jitwahan Uraon, observer of Bindranawagarh constituency SP Vashishta, poll expenditure observer Rohit Dwivedi, police observer SB Ramanand, district collector Hemant Pahare and district police Superintendent Abhishek Pathak held a meeting with all the 56 sector officers to take stock of the facilities available at polling booths.
They also enquired about the approach roads to polling booths and instructed the respective officials to remove deficiencies at the polling centres in advance for smooth polling and convenience of voters.
In the meeting, the officials first reviewed the facilities available in polling booths of rajim Assembly constituency. In the constituency all 264 polling booths have been divided in 22 sectors headed by sector officer who informed the observer and district officials about facilities available in their respective sector like building of polling booth, polling date, poll timing, poll booth number, wall writing, availability of electricity, water and urinal/latrine etc.
likewise, sector officers of Bindranawagarh Assembly constituency, where 289 booths have been divided into 34 sectors, also briefed the observer.
later addressing sector officers the poll observers instructed them to conduct the poll in fair and peaceful manner. They were also told to report to observer or police administration if they encounter any problem during the polling. All polling parties should reach their respective polling centre safely and return safely as well, the sector officers were told.
