The relay hunger strike called by villagers affected by NMDC’s steel plant project in Nagarnar entered seventh day on Tuesday.
The protesting farmers are asking for fulfillment of their 23-point demand including minimum one meeting of farmers and NMDC plant authorities every month.
Among the other demands some are construction of super-specialty hospital, ambulance service, scholarship to children, opening sports college, degree college and polytechnic in Naganar.
