The relatives of a youth who died in Dr Ambedkar Hospital on Saturday held a demonstration in front of Mohdapara Police Station while alleging that the former was administered wrong injection by the doctor while undergoing treatment for a fractured hand.
The relatives of the patient had lodged a complaint with the hospital administration and the Mohdapara Police Station. lalla Nishad (25), a resident of Krishna Nagar suffered a fracture in hand and was admitted to the Orthopaedic Ward on May 23. He died after a surgery conducted in the hospital on May 28, according to the relatives. Meanwhile, Hospital Superintendent Dr Vivek Chaudhary stated that the matter would be investigated.
