Bastar Collector Ankit Anand has directed officials on Wednesday to lodge an FIR against sarpanchs found to have siphoned off pension amount meant for destitutes in the district.
The Collector also directed that the entire pension amount siphoned off must be recovered from the Sarpanchs if they are found guilty. He also stated that as per the State government directives, livelihood colleges are to be opened in all districts where capacity and skill building training is being imparted.
Anand stated that Male superintendents should not be appointed for any of the girls Ashram hostels in the district. He directed that the visitors would be allowed to enter the Girls Ashram Hostel premises only after they make entry in the register provided at the entrance of hostels. Anand also directed that all Ashram Hostels should have a boundary wall for the security of the inmates. He said that no unsafe ashram hostels would be allowed to be run in the district.
