Raipur Development Authority allowed 50 percent discount in surcharge to those defaulters who wish to pay total due installments at one time.
The discount will be available till September 10, a release of RDA on Thursday said. Notably, on the requests of people, RDA chairman Sunil Soni had announced at New Rajendra Nagar on July 31 to give rebate in the surcharge levied on the defaulters who fail to deposit installments of the amount they owe to the Authority in lieu of houses taken on rent-cum-lease basis.
Chief executive officer of the Authority Alex Paul Menon issuing the order in this connection on Thursday asked the revenue section of the Authority that while informing the defaulters for paying their dues provide them 50 percent rebate in surcharge in case they pay all dues at a time. The Authority has also appealed people to pay their dues in time to avoid paying surcharges. Meanwhile, RDAappointed its first lady office superintendent besides giving promotion to five sub engineers and other office staff as well.
Ms Kumudni Awadhiya became the first lady staff who has been promoted to the post of office superintendent after being promoted from assistant grade I. Moharrir Rajjak Khan has been promoted to Revenue inspector, Jyanesh Reddy, Sudhakar Rao Thokne and Ramesh Rao have been promoted to assistant Grade II whereas Dharmendra Singh Sengar has been appointed storekeeper after being promoted to Grade II.
likewise, AD John, private secretary to CEO, has been made administrative officer and four sub engineers – Yogesh Chandra Sahu, K P Dewangan, Rajiv Agrawal and Anil Gupta have been promoted to Assistant engineers. Sub engineer (Electricity) Suresh Singh Kunjam who is working in Raipur Municipal Corporation on deputation has also been promoted to assistant engineer’s post.
