Gram Gaurav Path, the Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) road, of Chhirha village will be redeveloped soon. The State Government had sanctioned Rs25 lakh for the construction of Gaurav Path for the village. According to official sources, the contract for construction of RCC road has been given to a Contractor of Raipur.
The villagers had submitted a complaint with the Collector regarding alleged inferior and below standard road construction by the Contractor. The Collector ordered for laboratory testing of the materials used in the construction. During laboratory test it was allegedly found that the materials used were of below standard.
