Chief Minister Raman Singh would leave for New Delhi on Friday to visit former Union Minister Vidya Charan Shukla at Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon who was seriously injured in the attack by Maoist insurgents at Darbha ghati in Bastar region on Saturday last.
Singh would return to Raipur the same day after visiting and inquiring about the health of the former Union Minister, official sources here informed.
Shukla’s personal physician Dr Anil Verma had returned from Gurgaon yesterday but would accompany the Chief Minister tomorrow again when he visits him at Medanta Hospital.
Dr Sandeep Dave who treated the former Union Minister when he was brought in critical condition at the hospitals in Jagdalpur and Raipur would also accompany Singh to Gurgaon tomorrow.
