Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh will gift various construction works costing Rs 300 crore to the people of the state capital on Tuesday. Dr Singh will dedicate and perform bhumi poojan of construction works costing Rs 1,000 crore at Naya Raipur and Rs 300 crore at Doomartarai, in Raipur. According to an official press statement issued here on Monday, the chief minister will dedicate Swagat Vatika of Naya Raipur project at village Chherikheri in Naya Raipur at 12 noon. He will lay foundation stone for logistic hub at Navagaon at 12.30 pm.
CM at a programme organised at sector-21 of Naya Raipur will perform bhumi poojan and dedicate roads of second phase and other development works at 1 pm.
He will dedicate 60-km long roads constructed under the second phase of Naya Raipur Project and Gram Suvidha Kendra at Navagaon and perform bhumi poojan of commercial tax building, jail and homegaurd building and panchayat and rural development building, conservation, augmentation and beautification of Jhanjh and Sendh lakes, modern crematorium and graveyard, lED streetlight project and wind energy.
The chief minister will present keys to the owners of 256 EWS and 188 lIG houses constructed under the Doomertarai Housing Project at a program organised by the Chhattisgarh Housing Board at Doomertarai at 4 pm. He will also perform bhumi poojan for 120 MIG and 120 HIG houses being constructed under the project at a cost of Rs 31 crore.
The CM will inaugurate housing projects being developed by the housing board at Sejbahar, Puraina and Dharampura. Under the Sejbahar project 229 independent buildings and 680 flats will be constructed with a cost of Rs 205 crore, while in Puraina, 8 storey building costing Rs 15 crore will be constructed. Similarly, in Dharampura, 28 shops, 28 offices and one super bazaar will be constructed on the complex.
The function to be organised at Naya Raipur will be presided over by MP Ramesh Bains. Agriculture minister Chandrashekhar Sahu, Housing and Environment minister Rajesh Munat, PWD minister Brijmohan Agrawal, Food and Civil Supplies minister Punnulal Mohle, Raipur (Rural) MlA Nandkumar Sahu, Aarang MlA Rudrakumar Guru, chairman, Chhattisgarh Housing Board Subhash Rao and chairman Chhattisgarh Bhawan
Evam Anya Sannirman Karmkar Kalyan Mandal Mohan Anti, chairman, Chhattisgarh state Breverage Corporation Devji Bhai Patel, chief secretary Sunil Kumar, principal secretary, housing and environment N Baijendra Kumar will be the special guests of the function.
