Chief Minister Raman Singh on Saturday condoled the death of first lok Ayukta of Chhattisgarh Justice KM Agrawal. He expressed his deep sympathies to the members of the bereaved family.
Singh in a condolence message said that Agrawal was the son of Chhattisgarh and an intellectual giant and well-versed in the matters of law. He worked as Justice of Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh High Courts, was Interim Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court, Sikkim High Court Chief Justice and Central Administrative Tribunal Chairperson in New Delhi.
Justice Agrawal also functioned as first Chhattisgarh State lok Ayukta from 2002 to 2008. ``Nation had lost a great legal brain due to the death of Agrawal’’ Singh was quoted as saying in an official statement.
