'Raman Govt is troubled by Centre's welfare policies'

The corrupt BJP government of Chhattisgarh and its leader Raman Singh were getting much troubled from the public welfare policies and decisions of the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre, said a press statement of the Congress issued here on Monday.

The Congress medical department chairman Shailesh Nitin Trivedi said that with the implementation of the Food Security Bill, the hollowness of Raman Singh, who was taking fake credit would come to the fore. With the latest food security bill and formation of Telangana state, the BJP has mentally accepted its defeat at the state and Centre and trying to tie the condemnable festoons of Chhattisgarh on Food Security Bill and Naxalgarh on Telangana, he added.

He said that through the Food Security Bill 67 per cent i.e 80 crore people would be freed from starvation and malnutrition and the living standard of common man would be improved. On the contrary, with the Mukhyamantri Khadyanna Yojana, the public distribution system of Chhattigarh would be transformed to ‘Corruption System’, he alleged. He alleged that because of the forged number of poor families of 32 lakh, 34 lakh and 36 lakh, the coffers of the BJP rice traders have been filled, but not the stomach of the poor labourers and they were getting away in search of work.

He said that Chhattisgarh has been going through serious problems, because of which production at ground level and development have been badly affected, but the BJP is engaged in deceiving the people of the state and collecting government certificate by producing forged figures. Trivedi alleged that the BJP government of Chhattisgarh has been mastered in telling lies, spreading confusion and double speak.

On the one hand, they tell that Chhattisgarh, which has become Naxalgarh after its formation, as a gift from Atal ji, on the other, insulting peoples’ sentiments by forecasting Telangana State as Naxalgarh, which has been disapproved by Advani, even before its birth, he added. He said, in fact, the Congress government in Andhra has finished the Telangana and Naxalite problem of that state, but the Raman government made Chhattisgarh to Naxalgarh.
