As the BJP’s performance in Bastar was not good, Chief Minister Raman Singh, to punish the region, did not give proper representation to the peoples’ representatives of Bastar in his cabinet, though there were much more problems. Even though naxalism, poverty and exploitation of tribal are on the high, but partiality has been done to Bastar. The Government will not run with such a biased feeling, said former chief minister Ajit Jogi.

Jogi, who was passing through the city on his way to Senwar in Bilha assembly constituency to attend the Guru Ghasidas Jayanti programme, spend some time in the circuit house. While talking to journalists, he expressed his views on the Raman cabinet. On a question regarding proper representation to the tribal and the scheduled castes category, Jogi said that this tendency had been there. Tribal and scheduled caste categories were being neglected and their representatives have not been given proper place.

On the passing of lokpal Bill, he said that the total credit goes to the UPA Gfovernment. With the implementation of lokpal Bill, curb would be put on corruption. On fighting parliament election, Jogi said that if the party wishes, he would be a candidate. If the party gives a chance, definitely he would enter into the battlefield and fight the election with full preparation.
