Chief Minister Raman Singh on Sunday visited to village Pusapal (development block Makdi) in Kondagaon district and gifted a pair of footwear to a woman farmer Rajwanti Netam.
Chief Minister is touring the region as a part of his State-wide 'lok Suraj' campaign.
Singh also visited the agriculture land of a tribal farmer Rai Singh Netam and observed the land development work. The local farmers said that they also pluck Tendupatta during the summer months. They received the tendu patta bonus for the last year's collection.
Chief Minister enquired from Rajwanti Netam whether she received the footwear for collecting the Tendu patta she said she had not received. Singh instructed the Forest Department officials to get a pair of footwear and then Chief Minister gifted to her.
