Dumdar, the much awaited Chhattisgarhi movie is all set to release while its producer, Snehprabha Rajput and leading actress, Sarita is also ready for their debut in the film industry.
The movie will be released in Raipur, Dhamtari, Bhatapara, Mahasamund and Janjgir-Champa on Friday.
Rajput is the first woman movie producer of Dhamtari. Known Chhattisgarhi actor, Prakash Awasthi, who has hit movies including Rikshewala and Maya in his account, is playing the lead role in this action film.
Sanjay Mahanand, who is well established in Chhattisgarhi and Bollywood film industry, is playing the second lead in this movie.
Sunil Soni is the singer and music producer while the co-producer, Judit Singh is also story and scriptwriter of this movie.
Known action director of South film industry, Kundutaru Babu has given fight sequences in the movie.
“The movie is based on patriotism. It’s a family entertaining movie, which also gives educational messages at many occasions. Hindi and ‘easy’ Chhattisgarhi dialect is used in making of this movie” said Rajput.
She expressed her belief that the movie would be liked by urban and rural dwellers at same time.
Many others including Ejaz Warsi, Anil Sharma, Pradip Sharma, Kshamanidhi Sharma, Pushpanjali Sharma, Muskan, Rakhi Banjare, Ashok Jadhav, Akash Giri Goswami, Rajkumar Sinha and Subhash Jaiswal have played important roles in the movie.
Most scenes of this movie have been shot in Raipur and Dhamtari while its distribution rights have been given to Morpheus Production Company (Raipur).
