BJP national president Rajnath Singh will address three public meetings on a single day to campaign for party’s lok Sabha candidate Abhishek Singh for the Rajnandgaon seat on Thursday (April 10) in the State.
Abhishek Singh is the son of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh. This apart, the BJP president would also address public meetings on the same day at Pangarh in Janjgir lok Sabha constituency, besides at Gandai in Khairagarh Assembly segment at 2.45 pm.
Incidentally, on April 2, the helicopter in which Singh was travelling was held up for about half an hour at Jagdalpur in Bastar due to delay in getting air traffic clearance. Speaking to reporters at the air strip of Jagdalpur, Singh had said that the people who are keeping a watch on the political developments in the country are certain that it will be the BJP that will come to power at the Centre after the elections.
