State Government's School Education Department (SED) has issued orders for immediate suspension of the then District Project Co-ordinator of Rajiv Gandhi Mission AK Patel for allegedly committing irregularities in purchase of school uniforms and other materials and their distribution in the district.
During the period of his suspension, Patel had been attached to the District Education Office at Dhamtari district headquarters, an official Press release stated. Meanwhile, Secretary, SED, Dinesh Srivastava has directed Narayanpur District Collector and Mission Director to constitute a committee for physical verification of all the materials to ensure its distribution.
