At the secretariat, Mahanadi Bhawan, Atal Nagar Raipur, Additional Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain administered ‘Anti-Terrorism Day Pledge’ to the officials and employees.
At Raj Bhawan secretariat, secretary to Governor Surendra Kumar Jaiswal administered the pledge to officials and employees.
Similarly at district level at Raipur, Gariaband, Sukma, Bastar, Surguja and other districts, the officials and employees were administered the pledge.
They took pledge to fight and oppose all forms of terrorism and violence and to promote ‘peace, social harmony and understanding’ among fellow citizens.
There is a need to create awareness on the issues of violence and terror faced by common people and to keep the young generation away from its adverse effects or being misled to the path of violence.
