To mark the National Unity Day, scores of people in Chhattisgarh’s capital on Monday participated in a ‘Unity Run’.
The event was organized by the Raipur administration and the Sports and Youth Welfare Department to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.
The run started from Collectorate Chowk and culminated at Telibandha Chowk after passing through Shankar Nagar and GE Road.
National Rope jumpers Vasudev Patel and Devashish Patel exhibited their rope skills at Telibandha.
The people took an oath to maintain unity and integrity of the nation.
Raipur (North) MLA Kuldeep Juneja, Raipur (Rural) MLA Satyanarayan Sharma and others attended the event.
