Delhi Daredevils was lacking the required momentum to win matches which the team has gained after matches in Raipur, expressed Unmukt Chand while talking with reporters after the winning the crucial match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium on late Wednesday night.
“Raipur turned out to be lucky for us, as we were lacking the momentum for winning matches,” said Unmukt. To a query that which factor worked that brought two wins for his team in Raipur, said “in both the matches we have won we have done extremely well fielding. Fortunately we have been able to pull out some great catches I think everyone really worked hard and we all want to win.” He further added,”T-20 is a game in which momentum has a lot to play. Otherwise confidence of everyone in team is high, everyone is working hard and at the end fortunately we have got the momentum so we will carry it on and win the matches.”
Replying on the role of David Warner who turned out to be game-saver for Delhi Daredevils in both the matches, Unmukt said, “He is like he can do anything, ask him to open or play at number four. He is able to maintain his role and acclimatize getting to the job. The way he has moulded batting for us I think it is perfect for us.”
