Hectic preparations are underway for for three-day ‘Raipur Sahitya Mohotsava’ to be organised here at Purkhauti Muktangan from December 12, officials said.
Chief Secretary Vivek Dhand reviewed the preparations in a meeting with senior officials at the Mantralaya here.
Dhand directed the officers of the concerned departments and Raipur district administration for full cooperation in organising the event. The officers held discussion regarding security, drinking water, first aid, electricity, parking, traffic management from Raipur to Purkhauni Muktangan etc.
The officials said that renowned Hindi litterateurs of the country have been invited for the programme besides special invitation to litterateurs of Chhattisgarh.
lectures on various genres of literature would be delivered during the programme. A book fair will also be organised besides cultural programme.
Additional Chief Secretary,Home and Transport NK Aswal, Principal Secretary, PWD and Public Relations Amitabh Jain, Secretary Higher Education Bl Agrawal, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Subodh Singh, CEO of Naya Raipur Development Authority Amit Kataria, CEO of CHiPS Saurabh Kumar and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
