The Principal of Delhi Public School (DPS), Raipur, Raghunath Mukherjee, has been adjudged for the third consecutive time as the ‘Best Principal in Chhattisgarh Zone’ for the year 2015-16.
The recognition came along with a trophy and citation from the Founder and Director of Science Olympiad Foundation lauding the efforts of the Principal in motivating the students to perform even better each year, a school press release informed.
“About 1500 students registered in this exam from DPS, Raipur and about 50 to 60 students secured enviable ranks thus inspiring many other students to strive as challenge-busters,” said the elated Principal.
Praising the students further he said, “I am happy that the number of students trying to take these exams escalates each year displaying the zeal and zealot of the students in cracking it. The objectivity of these tests will surely reflect in their career and interest towards science.”
Pro Vice Chairman, Baldeo Singh Bhatia congratulated the Principal saying, “Your initiative is worth emulating. In your quest to extend the horizons of the school, your tryst with Olympiads, Exchange programs, launching of NGO are some podiums that have enthused the children to go beyond their textbook. This will surely earn them a better perspective.”
