PWD Minister Rajesh Munat admitted in the Chhattisgarh Assembly that the State Government has proposed to construct a new Expressway by removal of the Raipur-Kendri Railway line.
In a written reply to Congress member Dhanendra Sahu, the Minister said that the land for the project is yet to be acquired from the Railways.
The work for the project would begin after permission for land acquisition is acquired from the Railways, he said.
