Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi took on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday in a row over Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj helping controversial former Indian Premier league boss lalit Modi get emergency travel papers in Britain, and alleged `PM should stop protecting lalit Modi’.
“There is only one man running the country and the government, that's Mr Narendra Modi. Mr Modi is standing behind Mr Modi (lalit Modi),’’ Gandhi told newsmen in Chhattisgarh where he landed on Monday morning for a two-day trip to lead farmers and tribals protest against BJP regime’s land acquisition. Gandhi further said, “The PM should sack Sushma Swaraj as lalit Modi is the symbol of black money’’.
