Commenting on the upcoming road show of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Chief Rahul Gandhi in Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Raman Singh on Wednesday said that it is the age of Rahul Gandhi to ride a bike and he should do the same anywhere on good roads of the State.
Rahul Gandhi can do his road show wherever he wants, he said.
Notably, the AICC Chief is going to perform a road show with a bike rally during his visit to the State on May 17.
Replying to a query about allegations of Congress party that the government has given permission of ground in Pendra to their ‘B’ team Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (J), Singh said there was no such ‘A’ or ‘B’ team. All of them were of Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (J).
The permission was granted to JCC (J) for the ground as they approached the government earlier, he commented.
It is to be mentioned here that the Congress party and JCC (J) both are going to hold public meetings at Pendra on the same day on May 17. The JCC (J) leaders approached the district administration for a ground which was also desired by Congress party. As JCC (J) approached earlier the ground has been allotted to them.
