Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday handed over appointment letters to 2,000 teachers recruited by the School Education Department for the Bastar and Surguja regions.
They did this at the Rajiv Yuva Mitan Sammelan at Nava Raipur, an official communiqué said.
They also honoured five Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs with shawls and shriphal for their exceptional performances.
Appointment letters are in the process of being issued for 3,449 out of 5,772 positions. Among these, 2,000 candidates were presented with appointment letters.
