The main function of the Republic Day in Chhattisgarh will be held from 9 am on January 26 at the Police Parade Ground, Raipur.
Governor Anusuiya Uikey will unfurl the National flag and address the people. A guard of honor will be given by the police and paramilitary forces. Prizes and medals being given by various departments will be distributed.
Raipur Collector Saurabh Kumar on Tuesday held a review meeting on the main function of Republic Day, an official communication said.
He urged all officials to strictly follow all the guidelines and protocols related to Covid-19.
The Collector said there will be no tableaux and cultural programmes of school children.
Government and semi-government offices in the city limits should complete their Republic Day events of hoisting the flag before 8 am.
