The Public Works Department (PWD) will be holding a State-level workshop on Right To Information (RTI) Act 2005 at New Circuit House in the city on Thursday (September 18) at 10 am.
Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) Serjius Minj will inaugurate the workshop.
In the first session of the workshop, well-known RTI activist Prateek Pandey will throw light upon the guidelines of RTI Act 2005.
Thereafter, Dr Pradeep Shukla of Chhattisgarh Administration Academy will talk about ‘Exemption from Disclosure of Information’.
In the second session, State Information Commissioner AK Singh will deliver a lecture on Appeals and Complaints under RTI Act. later, Retired State Information Commissioner SK Tiwari will provide information about important decisions of High Court and Supreme Court under RTI Act.
