Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Rajesh Munat held a review meeting with the officials here on Monday.
He directed the Chief Engineers, Superintendent Engineers and Executive Engineers and On-Field officers to review the progress of the construction works every month.
Officials were asked to submit the proposals of the hostel, administrative, school and college buildings for the annual renovation. The Building Directory of the Public Works Department was unveiled also during the meeting.
He told the officers to complete the pending works of the 2014-15 fiscal year by January 30, 2016. Further he directed them to follow the National Highways guidelines for the construction of proposed four lane, six lane and railway over-bridges.
Officials were told to submit the important technical documents to the Public Works Department by November 2015 for approval.
Moreover, he asked the officials to ensure that tenders are given to registered Degree and Diploma Engineers as well as Builders.
