Chhattisgarh's Excise Department on Tuesday gave a clean chit to PVR after it was alleged that its Pandri multiplex was not selling tickets for "Kashmir Files" and running the movie with empty seats after putting up a "House Full" sign.
An official statement said on Friday the shows were restricted to 50 percent capacity because of Corona curbs.
Since Saturday, the show was being run at Pandri with 100 percent capacity, the statement said.
Meanwhile, the management of PVR at City Central Mall Pandri has lodged a complaint with Devendra Nagar Police Station over the false charges levelled against it. It said that tickets were sold both offline and online.
With increase in demand, the numbers of shows have also been increased, it said.
