A Raipur local court on Thursday provided bail to Dr Punit Gupta, son in law of former Chief Minister Raman Singh, and two other accused in multi-crore DKS scam.
The anticipatory bail was granted to them by Chhattisgarh High Court, Bilaspur recently.
Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Justice Pankaj Tirki granted bail to them on surety bond of Rs 2 lakh each.
Father of Punit Dr G.B. Gupta took surety of him as a guarantor. The next hearing into the matter would now be held on November 6. Along with Punit, two other accused including former Assistant General Manager of Punjab and Sindh Bank, Sunil Agrawal were also granted the bail.
