Children belonging to the age group 0-5 years will be administered polio drops under the Pulse Polio Campaign 2015 on February 22 in the district. The Pulse Polio campaign is an immunization drive established to eradicate Poliomyelitis by vaccinating all children under the age of five years. On the due date, polio drops will be administered among the children at various pulse polio booths set up in the district. A training programme was organised in the district for the officials and employees involved in the implementation of the campaign from January 3 to 14 for the smooth execution of the drive. A total of 25 Sector Officers have been appointed for the upcoming pulse polio vaccination drive.
