A total of 79 applications were received pertaining to various complaints and demands from villagers in a district-level public grievance redressal camp held at Baharchura Gram Panchayat in the Ramchandrapur Development Block in the district. Out of the 79 applications received from the villagers, 70 pertained to demands and 9 were complaints.
The heads of various district level departments redressed a total of 56 applications on demands and one complaint on the spot.The Project Director of Rural Development Authority R K Khunte directed officials to take necessary action on the rest of applications received within 15 days. Present at the camp President of Ramchandrapur Janpad Panchayat Tarawati Singh said that the district level grievance redressal camp had been organised for the people so that they do not have to travel to the district headquarters for small work to lodge their complaints.
