Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University will hold a lecture series on highly significant and popular issues as part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations.
The varsity’s ‘Public Outreach Centre’ under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Shivkumar Pandey has decided to invite country’s prominent scientists, journalists, industrialists, writers and members of the judiciary for delivering lectures at the University, a varsity press release stated.
In this context, the first lecture of the series titled ‘ Emerging Energy Challenges and Opportunities’ would be delivered by renowned nuclear scientist and Padma Vibhushan Dr Anil Kankodkar on December 3 this year.
Similarly, a lecture would be delivered by Justice A K Patnaik of the Supreme Court on December 14.
It may be recalled that former President of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on September 11 this year delivered a lecture titled ‘Science is Reciprocating’ at the University.
