Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Ravindra Choubey told the conference that baskets prepared by bamboo craftsmen will be used to procure cow dung in the Gauthans. Baskets of the capacity of 5 kg, 10 kg and 20 kg should be used. Indirectly, it will generate work for the bamboo craftsmen. Weighing machines should also be arranged. He said that funds for the scheme have been provided through Gau-Seva Ayog, District Mineral Fund (DMF) and Compensatory Afforestation Fund Act (CAMPA) among others. Chief Secretary R.P. Mandal and other senior officials were present.
