In a bid to provide easy and approachable transport related services in Chhattisgarh, the government has initiated the process of opening over 1,000 Transport Facilitation Centers across the state.
A communication from the department said on Wednesday that these Centers would be authorized to issue a learning license.
The government has called for applications from interested parties for opening the Centers.
In Rajnandgaon district, to open 24 centers, applications can be sent to the office of Road Transport Officer by May 10.
The Centres will generate employment generation for about 5,000 youths, the communication stated.
